The community of Big Horn is 6 miles south of Sheridan, Wyoming in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains.  Big Horn Elementary (BHE) is located a separate building on the same campus as the middle and high school.  BHE is one of 3 elementary schools in Sheridan County School District #1, in central northern Wyoming.

        Big Horn Elementary, as well as all the schools in Sheridan County School District #1, operates on a 4 day week, Monday through Thursday.  Hours at BHE are 8 a.m. to 3:55 p.m.  There are alternative activities available to interested students on many Fridays, through the Friday Activity Program.  For more information on our 4 day week, click here.
